How it works

1. Request an invite. Tell us about your company, trucks and the towns you cover. We review every request by hand.
2. We set you up. We confirm your details, then set your home area, the zip codes you serve and your prices. There is no charge during the trial.
3. Go on duty, get offers. Flip the switch when you are ready to work. A nearby driver's request is offered to you with the price already shown. Accept it and head out.
4. Later, it is your call. Once customer requests begin coming through, we will ask whether you would like to continue at $25 per month for SEO. If you would rather not, that is completely fine. Another company may then take your zip code.

What you get

• You set your prices

  Your own prices for towing, jump starts, flat tires, lockouts, fuel and stuck vehicles. A driver sees a flat price before anything is dispatched, so the call starts without haggling.

• You pick when you work

  Go on duty and off duty yourself. Nothing is offered to you while you are off.

• Offers come to you nearby

  A request in your zip code goes to the nearest operator on duty first, with the price already shown. Tell us the zip codes you cover and we will set them up. If you are off duty, the driver can pick a nearby company within 6 miles, so the driver is not left without help, and you may get requests from nearby zip codes too.

• Change the price if the job changes

  If it turns out to be harder than described, you can propose a new price while you are on the way. The price changes only if the customer accepts.

• Job alerts by text, if you want them

  Turn on text alerts yourself and get a short message with a link when a job is offered. We send job alerts only, never promotions.

• A page on the town and service pages

  Towns you cover get public pages for drivers searching for help, showing real operators nearby.

Who can join?

Tow and roadside operators in North or South Carolina with a working truck: flatbed, wheel-lift, or a service vehicle for jump starts, lockouts and fuel.

Who is responsible for licenses and insurance?

You are. Each operator is responsible for holding the licenses and insurance that their work requires. TowingNearMe does not check or provide them.

What does it cost?

There is no charge during the trial. When customer requests begin coming through TowingNearMe, it is $25 per month for SEO. You can also decide then not to continue. There is nothing to pay to ask for an invite.

How do I get paid?

The customer pays you directly, at the price they saw when they asked for help. TowingNearMe does not handle the job payment and does not take a cut of the job. The only amount you pay us is the monthly plan, and only once customer requests begin coming through.

What do I get for the $25?

We market your zip code through search-engine optimization, on our town and service pages, so drivers searching for a tow find you. There are no paid ads, and the plan does not change who is offered a job.

How does the trial end?

The trial ends when customer requests begin coming through TowingNearMe. Before any fee starts, we will ask whether you would like to continue.

What happens when requests start coming through?

We will ask whether you would like to continue at $25 per month for SEO. If you would rather step away, there is no charge, and another company may then take your zip code.

Do I get the customer's phone number?

Yes, once you accept a job and are assigned to it, so you can reach the driver. It is never shown to anyone else.

Can I turn off texts?

Yes. Reply STOP to any text, or switch alerts off in the Operator app.

How fast will you reply?

We review requests by hand and will contact you at the phone or email you give us.
