How it works

1. Request an invite. Tell us your shop name, address and phone. We review every request by hand.
2. We set you up. We confirm your details, place your shop on the map and give you a phone and PIN to sign in. There is no charge during the trial.
3. Drivers can choose you. When a driver near you needs a tow, your shop shows in the list of places to be towed to, with the distance from where they are.
4. Later, it is your call. Once customer requests begin coming through, we will ask whether you would like to continue to be listed near drivers in your area, at $10 per month. If you would rather not, that is completely fine. Other companies may then take your place.

What you get

• Show up where a driver is deciding

  Drivers pick a shop to be towed to. Your shop is listed for pickups within about 5 miles, nearest first. Each pickup shows the nearby shops. If nothing is that close, we show the nearest few.

• Cars arrive expecting you

  The driver chose your shop before the truck left, so the car shows up on purpose, not by accident.

• Keep your details current yourself

  Sign in to update your shop name, contact, phone, address, map location and towns served. Your private notes (hours, instructions) stay visible only to you and us.

• Nearest-first, no bidding

  The list is ordered by distance from the pickup. We don't offer a paid top spot.

• Works with tow operators near you

  Local operators are offered the job and tow to your shop. Know a good one? Tell us when we talk.

Who can list a shop?

Independent and franchise auto repair shops, body shops and tire shops in North or South Carolina that are willing to receive towed-in vehicles.

What does it cost?

There is no charge during the trial. When customer requests begin coming through TowingNearMe, the fee is $10 per month, and you can decide then whether to continue. There is nothing to pay to ask for an invite.

How does the trial end?

The trial ends when customer requests begin coming through TowingNearMe. Before any fee starts, we will ask whether you would like to continue.

What happens when requests start coming through?

We will ask whether you would like to continue to be listed near drivers in your area, at $10 per month. If you would rather step away, there is no charge, and other companies may then take your place.

What do drivers see about my shop?

Your shop name, phone and address, and how far you are from their pickup. Your private notes are never shown to drivers.

Will I get texts or calls from drivers?

We don't text shops. A driver chooses your shop as the destination for the tow; how you receive cars (drop-off hours, after-hours key drop) is for you to tell us on the review call.

How fast will you reply?

We review requests by hand and will contact you at the phone or email you give us.
